The House is schedule to vote on “Cut, Cap, and Balance” today, which Barry has already threatened to veto, because why would the President possibly want to do anything that might actually do something about debt and the economy when he a funds to raise and a re-election to run for?

Though, Ross Douthat seems to think that we’ve already lost the debate because in the negotiations over the debt ceiling, the Republican Party had everything mapped out except the endgame.

Jen Rubin thinks that right now, if you want to figure out what is going to happen in the fight over the debt ceiling, ignore nearly everything being said in public.
